Wk 2 Artist Interview: Mylene Raiche

Mylene Raiche is a delightful exchange student from America’s bright and shiny cousin, Canada. She called her exhibit “THE ÉPHÉMÈRAL MYLENE RAICHE” embracing her French-Quebec heritage. She focuses on drawing and painting, but my favorite piece, pictured above was a copy of the novel “Gone With the Wind” In which she cut out and folded every instance of the words, “Gone,” “With,” “The,” or “Wind.” Aside from that however, her traditional art skills are definitely capable and i wish her a happy life in her budding art career.
